What is with the hype over flax seed? Not only do we find ground flax seed being retailed in gallon packs these days, but notice how quite a number of popular food brands now carry the Omega 3 seal of nutrition on their labels and are integrating milled flax seed and flax seed oil into their products.

With the increased clamor for nutritious meals and the upkeep of healthy lifestyles, the nutritional content and value of the flax seed has been remarkably put to the fore. In fact, the flax seed is inspiring the growth of an emerging market for nutritious food that is generally founded on promoting the health benefits of essential fatty acids (EFAs).

Belgium is well-known through out the world for Ardennes pateé, Belgian chocolate, beers, and of course waffles. French fries (Dutch: Frieten; French: Frites) are extremely popular in Belgium, and many people say the best place to have them is from the ubiquitous stalls found in most Belgian squares, known as “frituur” or “frietkot” (Dutch), or “friture” (French).

When it comes to choosing a coffee maker, your first area of concern will be to determine what type of coffee you want. One of my favorite fat-burning foods that will help women burn more fat, especially excess belly fat is oatmeal. That is why I wanted to share some of my quick and tasty recipes for those of you who don’t have a lot of time but want to slim down and tone up.

If you incorporate oatmeal every day in your fat-burning menu you will start to notice your belly
shrinking rather than eating a bagel, toast, or sugary cereal. Oatmeal also is a great source of fiber
which we need in order for our bodies to run like clockwork.

First it was that you only got popcorn in movie theaters, and then as a child you might remember making popcorn with oil in a big pan. After microwaves became all the rage there came microwave popcorn. It is obvious that as a society we love our popcorn. That is why having a popcorn machine is not at all unpractical anymore, and is actually becoming increasing popular to do so. With the influx of media rooms and bonus rooms where people like to lounge around and watch movies with their family and friends, having a popcorn machine that can make large batches of popcorn seems perfectly reasonable.

Everybody knows coffee contains caffeine. And soft drinks. And chocolate. But did you know that headache medicine contains caffeine? What about ice cream? You are probably ingesting more caffeine per day than you realize. Just because you limit yourself to two cups of coffee or one soda doesn’t necessarily mean that’s where the consumption ends. The hidden caffeine that the average person ingests in any given day may not necessarily be a significant amount, but since everybody reacts to caffeine a little differently you may be getting just enough more than you and adversely affecting your health.

The whole experience of dining and/or drinking at a restaurant/bar can be given a facelift with proper and adequate restaurant/bar supplies being made available. The restaurant is a place having close association with leisure and concerns the fine taste of individuals. The intimate association of the restaurant with the lifestyle of persons dining out there makes it a place that is worthy of keeping spruced up at all times. This goes a long way to make the experience of dining at the restaurant turns out to be cherished one.

The premises of the restaurant and/or bar and especially its interiors are to be made plush and cozy for diners to get a special experience. The restaurant supplies provided adequately helps in ascertaining that the activities of the restaurant are carried out well and customers are satisfactorily catered to.

As women, one of the most important responsibilities we take on is food provision for our families. If we do not stay on guard, we can come to see this as a dreaded duty instead of a blessing to the ones we love so dearly.

I like to look at the Proverbs 31 woman as a daily example. To what length did she go to provide food for her family? It says she brought her food from afar. Think about how it must have been. There was no real mode of transportation or fast food restaurants on every corner. It would almost seem as if you would have to take what you could get. However, she went the extra mile to bless her family. This can be very convicting since there are times that I have to force myself to go to the local Wal-Mart.

Let’s face it-sushi or sashimi can be either the most delicious thing you have ever put in your mouth or horrible. People either love the idea of eating out of the sea raw fish or shutter and grimace at the thought.

As a fan of this cuisine, I have tried several places within Orange County, California. Let’s face it you stay where you are most comfortable and for me, the “OC” has been home for all but the first 5 years of my life. My entire family-even the newly teenaged niece and nephew have an affinity for the freshest and best of japanese “good eats”.

Fire Cracker Italian Sausage Pasta

Recipe

1 pound uncooked wheat pasta (be sure to use a fun shape)
1 large zucchini – sliced
1/2 cup red onion – sliced
3 T fresh garlic – chopped
1/2 cup olive oil
3 Italian sausage links – sliced
1/2 cup frozen peas
1/4 cup fresh basil
1/4 cup green onions
Salt and Pepper
